Our Evolution:

We’d like to share our history with you because we believe that it defines our work ethic; by understanding our history you will understand completely why we say we are the reliable, trustworthy, local, hands-on Cape Cod company ready to serve you.

Paul Daniels was a fifteen year old high school student who had been delivering papers for the local paper and saved up enough money to buy himself a lawn mower and began to mow his neighbors lawns. After graduation and a stint in the US Navy, he returned home to Orleans and revived his beloved landscaping business.

In the early seventies, he purchased property and expanded his landscaping business to include a nursery. He progressively expanded this business to include excavation, foundations, septic pumping, land clearing and road development.

In the 80’s, as the excavating business grew, he sold the nursery portion of the business. In the mid nineties his son Steven joined his Dad as a partner in a material recovery facility (commonly known as a construction and demolition transfer station) business.

As business grew the two started to merge the businesses together and in early 2000 we evolved into the business we are today: Daniel’s Recycling Co., Inc.
